We've nearly finished the bathroom prep, just the artex off the ceiling and moving a hole in the ceiling to put a light above the toilet.
The hall is also in bits ready for being plastered and the lounge .... ummm .... a few jobs that need doing me thinks still!
Gosh so much has changed since I first posted in this Blog of "The Money Pit". It's been an intensive couple of months but WOW we have actually accomplished quite alot :-)
Neil has more or less finished the bathroom, just needs to plumb in the towel rail and obviously the flooring (we need to finish the flooring in the lounge and hall too before we can carpet upstairs). He's also tiled the kitchen but just needs to grout.
Me .... well I have spent hours ...... more hours .... prepping the woodwork for the hall .... burning paint, sanding door frames, picture rails and skirting boards .... it is taking FOREVER!! I have finished two coats of primer and upstairs two coats of Satin Wood paint and am now working my way down the stairs to hopefully finish soon the door frames downstairs.
The Landscape Gardeners are working hard in the garden as well and it's taking shape with the framework more or less finished. Sitting out on the decking in the glorious sunshine we've been having is great because we can now visualize how the garden is going to look.
Although we've still got a list of jobs as long as our arms there is light at the end of the tunnel :-)
